Christmas Tree Sun Catcher, Craft My Stash #6
- Lawn Fawn Knit Picky 6x6 Patterned Paper
- Lawn Fawn Fancy Lattice Background die
- Lawn Fawn Gold Sparkle Single Cord Trimmings
I die cut a green vellum using the LF Fancy Lattice Background die. I adhered this to the back of one of the Christmas tree die cuts. I adhered the other Christmas tree die cut to the back, making sure that both the tree frames are aligned. I cut off the excess on the sides. I adhered the red ornaments, adhering the same sized ornament to the other side of the tree.

Nativity Scene Card
Hello! I created this card to join in Honey Bee Stamps Facebook Challenge on Traditional Holiday Designs.
I modified the stamp image from the Honey Bee Christ Is Born stamp set by taking off some of the elements included in the large nativity stamp set. I could have used the house in the stamp but I already cut the dark blue house that backs the roof and the beams cuts. I did not want the time, effort and resource put to waste.
Another modification I made is to stamp the star a bit farther from the house. To be able to do this, I masked the rays on the stamp to avoid inking it with Versamark ink.
Creating the rays is the most courageous part of creating this card since I foiled this part. Luckily, it did not turn out too bad despite some imperfection.
I also modified the ground of the manger, extending it on the sides to cover the whole panel of the vertical card.
This scene reminds me of our cardboard stand-up nativity scene at the Philippines which I grew up to, propping it under our Christmas tree. We don't have our own nativity scene here in St. Louis. It sure is nice to have one.

New Craft Stash #7: Stamp & Paper Pack
Hello! My featured new products in this post are Newton's Nook Birthday Roundabout stamp set and Simple Stories Magical Birthday Paper Pack. I created this card to join the latest Newton's Nook Design's Blog Challenge which features a sketch.
I started off by stamping the roundabout birthday stamp on Neenah Solar White cardstock. The colors of the paper pack guided me in coloring the small images in this stamp. I used Copic markers.
I die cut a scallop frame using the the smallest die from the Pretty Pink Posh Scallop Circles die. I initially die cut this using a patterned paper from the pack but I changed my mind and just went with a white scallop circle frame. I colored this frame with a Copic marker. I added some glitter to this circle frame by painting it with Wow! Mixed Media Embossing Brush. I poured Judikins Iridescent Sparkle embossing powder to it then heat set it. So as not to waste the other scallop circle die cut, I adhered this to the back of the colored scallop frame for some dimension.
I die cut the colored stamped birthday panel using a My Favorite Things Circle Stax die. I chose a circle slightly smaller than the scallop circle frame. I adhered the scallop circle frame on top of the colored panel.
I used one of the sentiments in the stamp set for the greeting. I stamped the sentiment on one of the patterned papers using Versafine Onyx Black ink. I embossed it using clear embossing powder. I made this into a banner.
I die cut a striped patterned paper using the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle die. I trimmed a pink patterned paper into 2". I die cut the bottom edge of this wide strip with Mama Elephant Borderlines Trio Creative Cuts. I added stitching holes to this wide strip using the Altenew String Art Rectangles dies. I added a running stitch to these holes using a white embroidery floss.
I adhered this wide strip diagonally to the striped patterned paper panel to follow the sketch. I added a scallop border sticker which is also from the paper pack. I adhered the circle focal paint with fun foam for dimension. I adhered the sentiment banner. I adhered this panel to a top folding pink A2 note card. I added some Pretty Pink Posh gems, and Wink of Stella to the birthday cake and to the banner sentiment.
