All You Need Is Love

I am joining My Mind's Eye February Challenge.

I have an 8x8 album. I made a double layout to depict the theme. I don't think a single layout can express how I interpret the theme.

My family is important to me. Just like the song, they make me happy. And I love them very much.

I bought the MME stamp set because of the sentiment. It is very close to what me and my sons say to each other, "I love you, forever, and ever, until the end of time, every day." We take turns in saying each word.

Debut Giveaway

This was my first biggest project made for a friend's daughter's 18th birthday celebration.

This is the giveaway, a candle with her name on it. I got the idea from a Lawn Fawn video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mInBj8-2Hcw

These are the boxes that will hold the candle. I used the Cricut Artiste cartridge for the box. I used a Martha Stewart All Over The Page punch for the flower.

The tags are cuts from Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.

This is how it looks all boxed-up.

Photos of the birthday cake with the giveaways.

If you noticed, the birthday was last September. It was only now that I get to post the photos.  I have a draft started for this post but it is only now that I get to connect my external hard drive to the PC to upload the photos. Finally!

My 8-year old

I decided to make a layout about my 8-year old son. Not a lot said in this layout, just his grade and his age.

I am using a winter paper line from Fancy Pants but I love the maroon color. It goes well with the green background of the photo, which he chose.

The base is a puzzle-cut made by my Cricut, from the Locker Talk cartridge.

Valentine's

I have 3 school aged boys and for Valentine's I made this for them to give away to their classmates. I made 52 of this in colors of blue, brown, green, red and yellow.

I envy Jennifer Mcguire who gave away non-candy treats. I bow my head to her since given the chance, I would do the same. My choice will be a pen or pencil of good quality. Budget keeps me from doing such so I stuck with the candy, and allowed my sons to choose the candy they want to give away. My 12 year old picked KitKat. My 8 year old picked Reese's. And my 7 year old picked Smarties.

I hope you had a good Valentine's.

ME Play Along

I created a card for the Mama Elephant's January Challenge.
This is the photo inspiration...

And this is the card I made based from it...

I created the card front using Neenah Solar White. I created the sort-of Ombre Pink pattern with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Victorian Velvet.

Thanks for viewing my blog.
