The details on how I created this luminary is on my post at the BPM blog. It only shows that you can use digital prints to create 3D projects just like a patterned paper or a cardstock. Just make sure that you use an 80 lb cardstock to make it sturdy. If you only have a light weight paper to print on, adhere a double adhesive tape to an 80 lb cardstock then adhere the digital print to it. The only difficulty I see here is cutting out the window using a craft knife because of the adhesive on the tape. It can gunk the blade of the craft knife and/or scissors.
It would have been easier if the stamp has a matching die but since it does not, we just go back to old school of cutting it with a craft knife and/or a pair of scissors. I went through two craft knives and a pair of sharp tipped scissors to cut out the windows. If you prefer to use a craft knife, make sure it is sharp. A blunt one does not give the best result.
This is how the stamped faux stained glass looks with a dark cardstock behind it.
On the first photo, I used fairy lights to light up the luminary. On the above photo, I used a tea light that changes colors. I love how it looks especially when the tea light has a blue light. How about you, which one do you like more?

Hello! I am on the Blank Page Muse Blog with a blog post far from my usual posts. For today's post, I am sharing how I organize my BPM rubber stamps. I have accumulated a good amount of BPM stamps eversince I joined the DT on 2023. Since then, I was keeping my stamps inside the brown packaging it came in on the mail. Time for some major organizing so I don't keep looking inside those brown bags looking for a certain stamp. I am very lucky to have found Stampin Up clear case containers at my local craft store, in the resell area. These containers played a major part in my BPM stamp organization.
My stamp organization is still a work in progress for it does require time, time taken away from crafting and other things. This involves some cutting and stamping so in a way I am kind of crafting.

Partial stamping is a technique in which you mask and ink only a part of the sentiment stamp. I used this technique so I can make the one line sentiment stamp into a two lined sentiment. You can always cut the stamp if you want to but if you don't, partial stamping technique is the way to go.

This collection includes 8 downloadable sheets which are customizable to your crafting needs. This is my third post this month featuring printables from this collection. Please check the other two posts if you are interested to see the other prints from this collection and to see what projects I created using this printable collection.
For today's project, I created a card with a paper weaved background. The paper I used for the weaved background is from the printable collection. There are four digital papers which I all used on this card.
The details on how I created this card is on the BPM blog. I am only sharing snippets here.
One technique I did for the paper weaving is to leave an uncut portion on the top and bottom edges of the panel. I weaved the paper strips from the side through the slits. Once I have reached the edge of this panel, I trimmed the ends following the slits for alignment. After I weaved the last strip, I secured the weaving by adding glue to the this strip.
I die cut a frame for the weaved panel using the green print out.
I die cut a flower, a stem and leaves using the light green print out. I also die cut 2 extra pieces for each die cut on white cardstock. I lifted the end of the leaf for a 3D look. To keep it up, I snuck a clear foam adhesive tape underneath the end of the leaf.
The colors of the print outs complemented each other. I love the bright but muted happy colors of these full sheet print outs from the collection.

Hello! I am on the Blank Page Muse Blog with this project using the newly released BPM digital download, the Summer Citrus Digital Papers, Ephemera, Pockets & Tag Printables. This collection is my featured BPM product for this month. This is the second project I created with this collection. You will see a glimpse of my first project using this collection on the photos at the end of this post.
I was planning to create a card with the image with the green design. I thought I sized the image to a note card size. After realizing I did not, I thought of creating it into a mini journal instead. The size of it is perfect for one.

I used sheets from an old lined notebook and some typing paper. I scored the papers so I can fold it really well but somehow there are still sheets sticking out and not aligned with the journal cover. I trimmed a sliver off the sheets until all sheets are aligned.
I created a bookmark using an ephemera and a tag. I lined the two and punched a hole on it. I threaded a twine through the hole and tied it into a bow.
I inserted a journal page in between the tied tag and the ephemera just like a bookmark. You will see on the photo above that the inside of the journal cover also has a print out of the design. This is another advantage of a digital image. You can print the image on both sides of the paper and come up with a double sided sheet.
I slipped the mini journal inside the pocket. Now, I have a double page art journal ready to be written on.

Hello! I am on the Blank Page Muse Blog with another art journal entry. Today's page is different from my previous art journal entries. First and foremost, I don't have any stamping on this page. Second, I only used printed papers. And, lastly, it is interactive. I hope you like it.
One of the advantages of using digital prints is that it can be sized based on your crafting needs. I uploaded the full sheets of the the digital prints. It comes as a .png file when uploaded. I saved it as .jpg so I can add it as an image to Microsoft Word. I edited the image using this program, resizing it so it fills up the whole 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock. I also edited the margins, decreasing the size, to maximize the area to print the full sheet. The cardstock I used is Hammermill Premium Color Copy Cover Stock.
If you only want to print a particular image, you can crop outt image from the sheet. This cropped image can be resized and duplicated.
Not to forget, these digital prints are very affordable.
The only requirement is a printer. I printed my digital prints using a toner printer. I was going to try and use my Cricut to print and cut the images but my printer ink is low. I have not tried uploading the BPM digital prints to Cricut. I am very curious on how this will turn out. I am also curious on printing these images on a 12x12 paper which my printer is capable of.
The details of the project is on my post at the BPM blog. I am just sharing snippets here. I added trims to the tags. I can intentionally fray the ends but I decided to heat set the this to melt it and prevent it from fraying.
I inserted the tags inside the pockets. The tags keep the folded journal closed shut. The one on the bottom tends to stay open so I might add a decorative paper clip to it to keep it close.
This is how the journal looks like when it is open when the tags are removed. You can see the stitching detail on the journals on the above photo.
I have nothing written on the pages yet. I plan to write my goals on this mini journal pages.

Hello! I am on the Blank Page Muse Blog with this simple and easy to create card. This card does not need a lot of supplies. In fact, the cardstock I used are from my stash. I also used one stamp on this card. I used the Blank Page Muse Steampunk Watch Face Rubber Stamp making this card easily reproducible. Most of my time was spent on die cutting the cardstock. You don't have to die cut the squares. You can just trim it to 1 3/4" x 1 3/4". I just like the stitched detail the die created that's why I used it on this project. The die I used is from Mama Elephant. The die cuts a hinge on one of the sides to create a door. Since I am not using this feature, I partially die cut the square on the cardstock. I rotated the die and matched the stitching on the paper with the stitching on the die. I partially die cut the side that I skipped to complete the square cut.
I stamped the clock face on each square die cut using an Altenew Paper Bag dye ink. I arranged the stamped die cuts on a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" side folding A2 note card. I laid the die cuts more towards the right side of the card front. Once I like the placement, I adhered the squares using a liquid glue to give me some wiggle time in case I need to move the square.
To fill up the left side of the card front, I trimmed a gray cardstock strip at 1/2" x 5 1/2" and adhered it to that open area. For some odd reason, the yellow square is larger that the others. I am not sure why.
I kept this card sentimentless. I can always add a sentiment later on if I want to. There are many possibilities with this card design. You can swap the clock with another image. You can change the colors of the squares. You can embellish the clock with gems. I was tempted to do that but decided against it to keep the card simple and easy to re-create.

Hello! I am on the Blank Page Muse Blog with this interactive card. I am doing a dual post tutorial. Although I will be touching it briefly here, the details on paper piecing will be described on the BPM blog as linked above. For the interactive portion of the card, this will be detailed here.
Paper Piecing is a technique of adding color to an image using colored paper. It involves use of minimal supplies including paper scraps. The tedious part of this technique is the fussy cutting and the layering.
On the above photo, you will see the result of the fussy cutting and the layering. I am adding some shimmer to the dress to give it some elegance.
For the card front, I used a detailed cut paper from Recollections. I trimmed this into 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". I partially die cut a window on this detailed paper. I used a light pink cardstock to frame the intricate paper. Looking back on my processes, there are a few things I could have done to make this card easier to create. I will point this out while I go through the steps of creating this card.
I die cut a rectangle on the light pink cardstock using a stitched die. This panel was cut at 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".
On the detailed paper, I partially die cut the interactive window using the the frame as a guide. I used a rectangle die which is the same size as the stitched die. I scored the slider part of the paper on three areas: 1) on the top most of part where the frame and flap meets; 2) a fourth inch from the bottom of the slider window; 3) and, on the center of these two folds on the slider window.
I reinforced the folds which is crucial to the slider. On a solid paper, this won't be a problem. But since I used an intricate paper, this proved to be a challenge.
Realizing that some of the intricate pieces of this paper might fall off because of the slider window cut, I adhered this to an acetate that was cut as the same size as the slider window. This is where I think I should have used my Xyron Create A Sticker Machine instead of the liquid glue.
I dabbed off the excess glue with a rag to prevent any blobs from seeping out to the acetate.
I pressed the acetate to the detailed paper. I placed something heavy over it while allowing the glue to dry.
I applied dots of glue to the front of the detailed paper, to the area where I will adhere the frame.
I pressed the frame to the glue making sure that the frame is aligned with the slider window on the intricate paper. I allowed this to dry with something heavy placed on top of it.
This is when I think the intricate paper is having some difficulties being a slider. The acetate would not fold on the score line despite giving it a good crease. I was leaning towards pitching this piece and starting all over again. But I decided to walk away and give myself a break. Surely, this allowed me to think on what I can do to save this piece.
I ended up taking off the acetate and switching it to a pink vellum. Good thing that I did not tear the intricate paper or else it would have been game over for this panel. I think that was the perk of using a liquid glue over the Sticker Maker. I don't think I can remove the acetate just like that if I used the Sticker Maker.
For the slider mechanism, I used another acetate which I cut a bit longer than 5 1/2" (the length of the card) but still the same width of the slider window. I cut the excess at the end. Since my initial card design was going nowhere, I made the slider acetate longer to give me a some leeway.
I punch a notch on the top using an old circle punch tool, Ephiphany. This allows the acetate to be pulled out easily.
I adhered the slider mechanism panel to a dark pink side folding A2 note card.
I adhered the fairy to the bottom half of the slider, avoiding the bottom fourth fold of the slider. I added gems to the intricate paper cut for an additional sparkle.
I stamped a sentiment on the front of the note card which shows when the slider is pulled.

I used acrylic markers for the coloring. Acrylic markers are opaque which allows you to add color on top of another color without altering the original color. Blending may be challenging with acrylic markers.
I masked the postage edges using an artist tape. To lessen the stickiness of the tape, I repeatedly adhered the tape to my forearm and removed it. You can also do this trick on your clothing, your shirt or your shorts/pants.
To create this into a postage, I stamped the cost of a first class mail on the top left corner of the die cut. Can you believe how much it costs to mail a first class mail these days?
I did not do a good job stamping the letter c. I colored the blank areas with a black gel pen to fix this.
The sentiment stamp I used came as a one liner sentiment. I wanted to create it into a two liner sentiment to make it fit on the right corner of the postage die cut. I masked one of the words and inked the unmasked word.
After I removed the tape, I stamped the inked sentiment to the bottom right corner of the postage die cut.
I cleaned the stamp and repeated the same masking-inking technique on the other word.
I stamped the inked sentiment on top of the other word to complete the two line sentiment.
