Thankful Card (New Craft Stash #8: Stamp Set)

Hello! I am featuring the Sugar Pea Designs Floral Envie stamp set in my New Craft Stash series. This stamp set includes a large floral envelope stamp which I used on this card.

I stamped the image on a dark brown Tim Holtz Idea-ology Subtrate Sheet using Versamark ink. I poured Altenew Peach embossing powder to the stamped image then heat set it. I colored the image with Faber Castell Polychromos color pencils, adding pearlized pigment to the flowers for some shimmer. I fussy cut the image leaving a small border around it.

My card panel was inspired by the Sugar Pea Designs Mix It Up Challenge. I chose neutral colored patterned papers from a Basic Grey Hipster 6x6 paper pad. I used the Simon Says Stamp Wavy Scallop Stitches die to add the wave border to two of the patterned papers. To mute down the floral patterned paper, I adhered a vellum in between the scalloped patterned papers.

I die cut a banner on vellum using Lawn Fawn Fancy Folded Banners. I heat embossed one of the sentiments in the stamp set on this banner die cut using Ranger Copper embossing powder. I adhered the bannder using Kool Tak clear foam tape.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! This year is a very challenging year for a lot of people but I hope that we find in our hearts to be thankful for even the smallest things in our lives. I believe that there is sun after the rain, or in this case, a storm.

I am thankful for you for your taking time to visit my blog. Have a blessed, brilliant and creative day!
