Snowflake Slim Card

Hello! I created a card to join in Hero Arts Stay Crafty Challenge. The challenge theme is Slimline Holiday Cards.

I die cut the snowflakes using different glittered and shimmery paper from a DCWV Solid Silvers 6x6 paper pad. I adhered the snowflakes on top of each other.

For the card panel, I cut a gray cardstock at 8 1/2" x 3". I embossed this with a snowflake embossing folder. The embossing folder is not long enough to emboss this long gray cardstock. To be able emboss the rest of the panel, I rotated the embossing folder 90-degrees, lining up the embossed design already on the gray cardstock panel to the snowflake design on the embossing folder. After which, I misted this panel with Perfect Pearl diluted in water. I set this aside to dry.

I also die cut a dark blue cardstock at 8 1/2" x 3 1/2". I adhered the gray embossed cardstock panel to this blue cardstock with a little bit of the blue peeking out on the top. I heat embossed the sentiment from the Hero Arts Holiday Sayings stamp set on the bottom of the panel. I heat embossed this using HA white embossing powder.

I adhered the snowflakes to the gray embossed cardstock panel. I added Pretty Pink Posh jewels to the snowflake.

Thank you for visiting my blog. Have a blessed, brilliant and creative day!
