Hello! Welcome to another Craft My Stash. My creative prompt for today is to create a scrapbook layout using my eldest son's yearbook photos. This is a long, overdue layout since he graduated high school for more than a year now.
The craft stash that I used on this layout are:
- The scrapbook page I am using is already pre-made by me during a make and take event at Archiver's. I used the colors on the patterned paper to help me coordinate the rest of the elements I used for the lay-out.
- For the title of the lay-out, I used dies from Paper Smooches (Congratulations die) and Hero Arts (Fancy Dies Alpha Uppercase). The number stamp is from Paper Smooches Digits stamp set.
- I used Recollections photo corners for this photo.
- I added a Maggie Holmes Flea Market photo overlay over this close-up photo.
- I used my typewriter.
- I cut up the books from a 6x6 patterned paper from Doodlebug Designs The Graduate paper pad. I also used this patterned paper collection on the matte of the typed accomplishments and the graduate die cut.
I really enjoyed creating this scrapbook lay-out. It reminded me of my beginnings as a paper crafter. Doing this as one of my Craft My Stash posts allowed me to see what I have as I rummage through my stash, and it gave me an idea on what to use in my next Craft My Stash post.
Thank you for visiting my blog. Have a blessed, brilliant and creative day!
Maria Giselle B.
