Using Left Over Die Cuts To Create A Card Background

Hello! When I made the Pop-Up Mini Christmas Tree, I was left with many negative cuts created by the tree frame. I did not want to put these cuts to waste so I used these tree cuts on this card.

To add details to the tree die cuts, I taped the trees next to each other using a low tacky tape and ran it through my die cut machine using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Border Die.

I flicked some Prima Color Bloom on these tree die cuts. I heat set this to dry.

I trimmed a snowflake patterned paper from the Lawn Fawn Snow Day 6x6" Petite Paper Pad at 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". I adhered the trees to this patterned paper, alternating the direction of the tree, making sure the top points of the trees are lined up on the edges and the center sentiment wide strip. I cut off the excess.

For the sentiment strip, I cut a red cardstock at 1-1/4". I heat set the sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Offset Sayings: Christmas stamp set using white embossing powder.

I add detail to the edge of the sentiment strip using the die from the same Lawn Fawn set I used for the trees. I adhered this to the center of the panel with foam adhesive.

Thank you for visiting my blog! Have a blessed, brilliant and creative day!
