Our new challenge at Incy Wincy Designs Challenge Blog is on Nature And Its Beauty. One of our sponsors is Kit and Clowder. I am using a freebie from Kit and Clowder. I printed the image on Canson watercolor paper. I sized the image at 5 1/2"x4 1/4" to fill the front of an A2 size card. I foiled the image using the Minc machine and gold Deco Foil. The foil did not adhere well to the toner print. I even ran the image twice, and also increased the heat setting of the Minc machine. Somehow the uptake of the foil was sub-optimal. I was not too happy about it but I decided to go forward with this project.
I watercolored the flowers using watercolor pencils. I enjoyed coloring this panel. It was very relaxing! I die cut the image using a stitched rectangle die from Mama Elephant Peek-A-Boo die. I adhered this to a top folding wide A2 notecard. I added some Glitter Drops Nuvo drops to the center. I did not want to overdo the embellishments since I want the focus to be on the watercolored flowers.
