Stitched Card

Hello! I created this to join in Scrapbook & Cards Today Spring Issue Moodboard Challenge. My favorites in the mood board are the pastel colors and the chevron pattern which inspired me to create this card. 

I first created my design by counting the holes created by the Paper Smooches Cross Stitch die. I used a graphing paper to map out the colors and the zigzag color pattern. Next, I chose the DMC colors that I will be using. Then I stitched away. 

I die cut this stitched panel with Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle Die. 

I matted this with a black cardstock. 

For the sentiment, I die cut the Paper Smooches You Are A Blessing die on black cardstock. I die cut this twice. I adhered the two negative cuts on top of each other. I added some shimmer with a black Wink of Stella. I adhered this to the center of the stitched panel.

I am using a top folding 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" horizontal notecard. I embossed the front using Li'l Inker Designs Quilted Stitched Pattern die. I adhered the panel to this.
