Fall-Themed Card

Hello! I am late in posting for Incy Wincy Designs Challenge. The theme is on Animals. When I started working on this image, I wasn't sure how it is going to end. When I encounter difficulties like this, I look up the image online and study it. I printed the image on Neenah Solar White Cardstock. I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils.

I am using a Fall line from Simple Stories called Autumn Splendor, which I won from IG Simple Stories. I used the patterned paper from the 6x8 paper pad. I also used the stencil, the stamp and the ephemera pack for this card. I heat embossed some of the stamps on the background panel. I used a Ranger Copper embossing powder for this. I matte the colored image with one of the patterned paper. I lightly ran the Versamark ink pad to the edge of the paper that will matte the colored image. I poured the same copper embossing powder to the edges, then heat set it.

I cut a wide strip from the same red patterned paper I used for the matte. I positioned the stencil and applied Wendy Vecchi clear embossing paste to the open areas. After I lifted the stencil off the paper, I poured Judikins Iridescent Sparkle embossing powder to the embossing paste. I set this to dry before heat setting it.

For the sentiment, I took a sentiment die cut from the ephemera pack. I cut a slightly bigger circle using a red pearl cardstock. I adhered the sentiment circle to this. I drew a line on top and under the sentiment using a Sakura white gelly roll pen.

I adhered the elements to the stamped patterned paper panel starting with the thick strip. I adhered the matted colored digital image using foam tape. I positioned this slightly to the right of the panel to have enough space for the circle sentiment.

Thank you for visiting my blog. Please join us in our latest challenge. I can't wait to see what you create. Have a blessed, brilliant and creative day!
