Reverse String Art Monogram Card

Hello! I created this card to join Altenew's Monogram Contest. The supplies I used are listed below.

Supplies:

  • Altenew String Art Rectangle Die set
  • Altenew Adore You Stamp Set
  • Altenew Woodless Watercolor pencil
  • Altenew Paper Bag Crisp Dye Ink
  • DMC embroidery floss

The letter was cut using the Cricut machine. I used the negative cut but I kept the positive cut just in case I decide to create another string art using this letter.

I chose the letter B for my last name. If I decide to give this card away, I can add a stamped 'beautiful' sentiment on the center.

I adhered the patterned paper to a heavy cardstock to add more stability.

I reinforced the holes created by the die using a piercing tool. I created a hole template by running the die on a strip of cardstock. This allowed me to continue the spacing of the holes as I poke holes on the curve of the letter. You can also just eyeball the piercing.

Thank you for visiting my blog! Have a blessed, brilliant and creative day!
