Fall Tag Banner

Hello! I am on the Blank Page Muse Blog with this banner mobile. The mobile in the photo is a DIY made during one of our library's crafting classes. I decided to step it up by adding the stitched letter tags. I hope you like it.

The  printed digital tag I used on this project is from the BPM Fall Harvest Junk Journal Cut and Glue Paper Pack.

The details of this project is on the BPM blog. Please click the link above if you are interested to know more about it.

The dies I used to poke the letter stitching holes to the digital printed paper is from The Stamp Market.

I used a DMC Color Transitions embroidery floss for stitching, all six strands of it. Some stitchers recommended separating the flossess from each other before stitching to add more volume to the stitching. I tried this technique on some parts of the stitching but I did not really notice any difference on the stitching. In the end, I just separated the flosses in two parts with three flosses in each bundle.

I love how the look of the variegated embroidery floss on the stitched letters.

I threaded a raffia through the tag holes and tied this to the tree branch mobile.

I hope you like today's project. Thank you for visiting my blog. Have a blessed, brilliant and creative day!
