Hello! Welcome back to another Crafting Away From Home post. This is my fourth post on this series in which I create away from home with the limited supplies I brought with me. I also created this card to take part with Scrapbook And Cards Fall Issue Sketch Challenge. I am so glad I am able to participate.
My card consists of products from the Simple Stories Autumn Splendor patterned paper and ephemera pack.
I trimmed the leaf patterned paper at 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". I added a wide strip of the a red leaf patterned paper. I cut a strip of green dotted patterned paper and adhered it to the sides of the wide strip. The plaid patterned paper was trimmed at 3" x 4 1/4".
I matted the main ephemera piece with a wooden patterned paper, cutting around the sides while leaving a small border around it. To add dimension to some of the ephemera pieces, I trimmed strips of scrap watercolor paper, stacked it and adhered it to the back of the ephemera pieces.
I had fun creating this card. I had a bit of a struggle being not at my craft room where most of my supplies are. It sure is a challenge.
The Scrapbook And Cards website is currently down. I will update this post with the sketch and the link to the challenge once the site is up and running.
Thank you for visiting my blog. Have a blessed, brilliant and creative day!
