Hello! Happy New Year to all of you! I created this interactive card to welcome the New Year. I hope you like it. I used the Lori Whitlock Twist Pop Card file to create this. I have the Back to School file but it wasn't hard to change the design into a New Year themed card. Also, very important, use a thicker cardstock for the twist feature. I tried using a thin cardstock and there is some difficulty closing the card back. Opening and closing the card should be smooth, which in fact is so satisfying to do.
For this second card, the only thing that I cut with the Cricut is the twist mechanism. I trimmed the elements of the card with a paper trimmer, using the measurements of the Cricut cut card. I also used a corner puncher, a scoring tool, and a metal die to re-create the first card. I used the negative cuts of the numbers from the first card so I don't put this to waste.
Thank you for visiting my blog. Cheers to the new year! Have a blessed, brilliant and creative year ahead!
