Zig Clean Colored Ppinky Dolls Digital Image

This is an image I requested from our sponsor so I think it is just right to create a project using this image. This is the second time I have colored this image. With the first try, I was trying to go for a no line coloring by printing the image in sepia. I also printed the same image in black.

We went on a vacation this past Labor Day weekend. As advised by my friend, I brought the art stuff I think I will be using to create this project. Sadly, I didn't anticipate using color pencils. Knowing myself, I didn't want to wait until I come home to continue coloring the image. I persistently colored the image with the Zig Color Clean markers. Nothing wrong against the colors but it didn't quite work out for me in working on small details.

Now that I am back home, where most of my crafting stash is, I decided to give this image another try in coloring. I used color pencils in lining her lips, coloring her nose, and detailing her eyes. I also used this on adding details to her hair, and coloring her neckband. I used a glitter ballpoint pen for the bow on the image's gown. For all other coloring, I used the Zig.

Since this is a Colour Challenge, I created a rainbow gown for the image. I applied Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Marker on the skirt part of the gown. I lined the image with a light gray Zig.

For the card base, I card-lifted Jennifer McGuire's embossing technique using nesting dies. I used the Lawn Fawn Stitched Square Stackable dies. I have both the large and the small, so I combined these 2 products to create the stacked impression. The image is not centered on the 4th to the largest square, and the 5th to the largest is too small for the image. I partially die cut the image to create a customized square, or more of a rectangle, to fit the image without altering the stacked design. I adhered a fun foam at the back of this to pop up the image.

For the sentiment, I used Altenew Label Love stamp set. I stamped this on a white strip of cardstock. I poured clear embossing to this and heat set it. I trimmed off the edges leaving a small white margin around the sentiment. I adhered this to the bottom of the image.
