Thinking of You 3D Flower Card

It is so funny when you cannot do something that you have done before. Does that make sense? What I am talking about is this 3D flowers cut from Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge. I have made a couple of this before, not regularly though. I do not understand why I always have difficulty gluing my flower in place. I always end up wasting the first flower. This time is a waste hard to let go since I used one of my favorite patterned paper. There is another piece of this patterned paper but it took a while for me to let go of the failed flower. Thanks to YouTube, I get to refresh myself on how to make the flower and see what I did wrong. I think it is how I handle the flower upon gluing and the glue I used that made the difference. And it sure did...

Enough of my difficulties. After last week's busy schedule of creating, I kind of slowed down this week. Anyway, the challenges I plan to participate in will not close until next week.

This tag was cut using Cricut Imagine More Cartridge. The leaves were cut using a circle puncher. I was going to use a flourish but I was having difficulty cutting it small using the Cricut. I think it is time to change the blade.

I used Stickles for the center of the flower. I had to layer it with Enamel Accents since the Stickles flattens when it dries. I inked the edges of the flower using Tim Holtz Distress Ink. The sentiment was heat embossed using silver embossing powder.

Thanks for viewing my blog.
