So Happy For You Vellum Copic Coloring Card

Debby Hughes is the September muse for the CASE Study Challenge blog. She is one of the designers that I like. I am inspired and motivated by her blog story.

The inspiration card is a flower stamped on vellum. If you have been following my blog, you know I don't have a big flower stamp in my collection. The one I am eyeing (Altenew Hennah Elements) is out of stock at online scrapbook stores that I shop at. But I really want to join this week's challenge. I looked through my supplies and I found this flower embossing folder.

I dry embossed the vellum with both tabs open since I don't want the impression to cut through the vellum. My vellum is only 21 lb. Some of it cut through but not enough to cut the whole flower. I colored one side of the vellum with Copics.

For the reverse side of the vellum, which will be the front of the card, I used Versamark pen to outline the flowers based on the impression. I poured glitter embossing powder, brushed off the excess, and heat embossed it as seen in the photo below.

Like the inspiration card, I used a metal sentiment die. I die cut the sentiment a couple of times, stacked and glued one on top of the other.

Thanks for viewing my blog.
